Shimpo DUA kilns are state of the art - strong and reliable and able to be transported if necessary. All DUA kilns are rated to 1300 degrees C. All these kilns have hard dual density insulation (inside surface is light weight brick) this gives long service life and efficient cost saving operation.
The built in controller is very advanced but easy to use with many pre-programmed firing types to choose from (bisque, glaze and Raku). Anyone can easily use! It also allows you to create your own programs and save them for your specific needs.
The larger Kiln sizes DUA 10, DUA 12 and DUA 15 have detachable sections to make set up and moving easy. All the DUA kilns have strong foot caster wheels to make moving easy!
The larger Kiln sizes DUA 10, DUA 12 and DUA 15 have air suspension struts on the lid making lid opening and closing easy and safe.
